Late Season follows the last days of whitetail season, filmed in Indiana in January 2026. The rut is done. The woods are empty, and the cold settles into your bones.
It is a film about the routine: show up, sit long, and hunt deer on food sources while the window is short. In January, one setup does not cut it. To find the right deer you have to stay flexible, and the plan shifts as the days go by. Some days nothing shows up. Other days deer slip out right at last light, just enough to keep you coming back.
When the buck finally shows, it is not magic. It is time put in. And the hunt does not end when the deer hits the ground. It moves from the quiet of the timber to the noise of camp, and the stories about the ones that got away and the ones that did not.
